Negative Positive is an instrumental fusion/jam band based in Chambersburg, PA.

Our music blends the exploratory feel of ’70/80s fusion with the groove-driven energy of today’s jam scene.

We’re influenced by bands like Weather Report, & Mahavishnu Orchestra, along with modern instrumental acts such as Snarky Puppy, Consider The Source, & TAUK.

The focus of our live shows is strong improvisation, deep grooves, & dynamic interplay that keeps things moving & unpredictable.

We’ve been playing together since 2022, & have spent that time developing a tight live sound that translates well on stage.

Our sets are high-energy, fully instrumental, and built for audiences that appreciate musicianship, spontaneity, and extended exploration. We can play a set that includes covers & original music.
